This Privacy Policy describes how We collect, use and share Your information when You use the Application or the Website, and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

• Application means the software program named Parallel Parking, provided by Carl Raul & Co and downloaded by You on any electronic device.
• Company (referred to as "We", "Us" or "Our") refers to Carl Raul & Co.
• Country refers to Sweden.
• Device means any device that can access the Application, such as a computer, a mobile phone or a tablet.
• Service refers to the Application and the Website.
• Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
• Usage Data refers to data collected automatically when the Service is used.
• Website refers to Parallel Parking App, accessible from www.parallelparking.app.
• You means the individual accessing or using the Application, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Application, as applicable.

Collecting and using your personal data

Types of data collected

Personal data

The Application does not ask You for personal information such as Your name, email address or phone number. When you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to send (such as your name, email address, and message content). The mobile app does not require an account for basic use. Our ranking database does not collect your email address, phone number, or payment details. If you submit a time to the optional global ranking feature (Pro), we store only what you submit for the leaderboard—display name, optional country, your time, and technical data needed to run the game features (such as the run data used to replay your best global run in Improve mode)—plus an anonymous identifier from the app store purchase system, not your personal account details. We do not use ranking data for advertising, and we do not sell your email or ranking data to third parties.

Data stored on your device

Your local scores (shown under Your Scores) and your road-side preference (left-hand or right-hand traffic) are stored only on your device. They are not sent to us and stay on your device until you reset them in the app Settings or uninstall the app.

Usage data

When the Application connects to the internet, for example to load or submit to the Global Ranking or to make or restore a purchase, technical data such as Your IP address, device type, operating system and app version is processed so that the request can be delivered. When You visit the Website, our hosting provider processes similar technical data (such as IP address and browser type) in server logs. We use this data only to run, secure and fix the Service, not to identify You or for advertising.

Global ranking

Anyone can view the Global Ranking list in the app. Submitting a time is optional and requires Pro. If you choose to submit, the display name and optional country you enter are shown publicly on the list together with your time. Do not use your full name or other personal information as your display name if you do not want it to be public.

Purchases and payments

Pro is a one-time in-app purchase available on iPhone and Android (not in the web version). Payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never receive your payment card details or your store account details.

We use RevenueCat, Inc. to manage in-app purchases, verify that your purchase is valid, and let you restore Pro on the same store account. When you make or restore a purchase, RevenueCat receives purchase information from Apple or Google (such as the product purchased, the transaction date, and a store receipt or transaction identifier) together with an anonymous app user identifier and basic device information (such as device type, operating system, and app version). Ads

We may display advertisements on the Website through Google AdSense or similar partners. Ad partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted by law and your choices. You can learn more about how Google uses data at Google's advertising policies. We may use analytics to understand traffic to this site; analytics providers may set their own cookies.

The Website does not currently show ads or use advertising or analytics cookies. Before We enable them, We will add a consent banner so that visitors in the EEA, the UK and other regions with consent requirements can accept or refuse non-essential cookies, and We will update this policy.

When AdSense is enabled, an ads.txt file is published at the root of this domain as required by Google.

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), We process personal data on the following legal bases:

• Contract: to provide Pro, verify and restore purchases, and show the Global Ranking entries You choose to submit.
• Legitimate interest: to answer Your emails, and to run, secure and fix the Service using technical data.
• Consent: for any non-essential cookies, analytics or personalized ads on the Website, if We enable them. You can withdraw consent at any time.

How long we keep data

• Global Ranking entries are kept for as long as the Global Ranking feature is offered, or until You ask Us to delete them.
• Emails are kept for as long as needed to handle Your request and any follow-up.
• Purchase records are kept by RevenueCat, Apple and Google according to their own policies and legal requirements.
• Local scores and settings stay on Your device until You reset them or uninstall the Application.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of Your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, You can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, email info@carlraul.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY) at imy.se or with the data protection authority in the country where You live.

Target audience and content

The Service is intended for a general audience interested in learning to drive and park. Store listings may indicate age ratings (for example 4+ or 13+) according to platform guidelines.

Links to other websites

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites (such as app stores). We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of every site you visit.

Deleting data

You can remove local scores and reset your road-side preference at any time in the app Settings. To remove global ranking entries, email info@carlraul.com with the display name you used and, if possible, when you submitted. We will delete matching records when we can confirm your request.

Changes to this privacy policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the "last updated" date. You are advised to review this page periodically for changes.
